WARNING! IF YOU ARE USING AN XT, DO THE FOLLOWING:
1) Set your overlay buffer extremly high.
2) Use the door version of this program.
Due to the way the PPE works, this program can run extremly slow on XT's.
There is also a version that I wrote that runs as a door. The door version
is much faster on XT's. On higher machines there is no noticable difference.
The source code is included with this program, modify it to suit your needs
if you have the PPL compiler.
Part 1 -- Setting Up.
Step 1 -- I assume you have already unzipped the appropriate files.
Step 2 -- If you have the PPL compiler modify COOKIES.PPS to suit your
needs. (optional)
Step 3 -- Add cookies as a logon script or to your CMD.LST, or somewhere in
your PCBTEXT file.
Step 4 -- Your done!!
Part 2 -- File Formats
The datafile can be called whatever you want it to be called. If you
do not have the PPL compiler it will default to cookies. The file is a
standard text file where the first line is the number of quotes in the file.
And each line afterwards is a quote.
Each quote must be no longer than 80 characters. (I think) If you have
the compiler, feel free to change this!
For example:
3
Hello
Hello my name is Sam
Hello my name is Sam Gorstein
