  6. The CBM-128 echo rules are intended to define the bounds of the CBM-128
  7. echo, and are in total agreement with FidoNet policy.
  8.  
  9. The "CBM-128" echo is a forum for the discussion of the Commodore C-128
  10. and C-128D computers.
  11.  
  12. Please use your real name in this echo.  If the bbs you post at forces
  13. aliases/handles, please sign your real name in the message.
  14.  
  15. Appropriate Topics Include:

  17.       * C-128 Computers                 * C-128 Software
  18.       * C-128 Programming               * C-128 Hardware
  19.       * C-128 Tips'N'Tricks             * C-128 News'N'Reviews

  21. Rules, Policy, Style, etc.:

  23.   * This is the CBM-128 echo - personal chit-chat, Amiga, IBM, etc.
  24.     are OFF-TOPIC and should be taken elsewhere.

  26.   * Please remember that this is an international echo.  Messages that
  27.     are only of local interest do NOT belong here; they belong in your
  28.     local message areas.

  30.   * NO Profanity - think before you write - you can say it better.
  31.     Do Not quote profanity.
  32.  
  33.   * NO Flames - try to be friendly - at least keep it civil. You're
  34.     entitled to your own opinion, but not to attack another person.
  35.     Agree to disagree.

  37.   * Help stamp out "quotaholism" - quote only that which ties to your
  38.     reply and is necessary for the continuity of the message thread.

  40.   * Keep "signatures" simple.  No multi-line signatures, cute graphics,
  41.     superfulous material, etc., etc., etc....

  43.   * Let the Moderator moderate - Do Not reply to inappropriate messages.
  44.     Use netmail to correspond with the Moderator.

  46.   * Do not be excessively annoying.  Do not be too easily annoyed.

  48.   * FidoNet forbids any illegal activities.  Discussions relating to
  49.     pirating and all other illegal activities are not allowed.

  51.   * Questions, complaints, change proposals, about these rules should

  54.   * Violation of these rules and/or FidoNet policy will bring a written
  55.     reprimand from the Moderator.  If the disruptive behavior continues,
  56.     provisions of FidoNet policy to have that user removed will be used.
