  8.     MS Windows v3.1 allows the user to play various sound files, and
  9.     audio CD-ROMs. This requires the user to activate the Media Player
  10.     from Windows Accessories Group. It does do the job, but it is a
  11.     plain drab box with very few options. Animotion has changed that.
  12.     They have released a program that any serious user should have.
  13.  
  14.     MCS Stereo is an excellent addition to your sound library. MCS
  15.     stands for Multimedia Component System. Once started, MCS Stereo
  16.     resembles a complete stereo rack system, right on your screen. It
  17.     allows complete control over every aspect of your sound files. It
  18.     has players for: WAV, MIDI, and audio CD. There is also a slide bar
  19.     sound control to alter the volume of each component. There is also
  20.     extensive on-line help and interactive tutorials, including right
  21.     button context-sensitive help.

  23.     MCS Stereo will come up in two environments: Standard, and Enhanced.
  24.     Standard provides access to all components from within one window.
  25.     Enhanced, provides separate windows for each component, and provides
  26.     advanced sound control and manipulation features. You can easily
  27.     switch between the two by one mouse click. While Standard launches
  28.     all components, you can close those you do not wish to use. Of
  29.     course, if you do not have a CD-ROM drive, you will not see that
  30.     option.

  32.     You can select files to  play, or the sequence of tracks from a CD.
  33.     For those who like to keep track of their music library there is
  34.     mediaLink. MCS Stereo's medialink is a comprehensive tool for
  35.     storing and maintaining all your CD, WAV, MIDI, tape and record
  36.     titles. It generates dBase compatible files to generate detailed
  37.     reports  on your music library.

  40.     Mixing Console -- controls all available input in your PC.
  41.     CD Player -- full featured compact disc player.
  42.     Digital recorder -- play and record digital WAV files.
  43.     MIDI Player -- plays MIDI files.

  48.     Major sound board support including: Sound Blaster, Pro Audio
  49.     Spectrum, MediaMaster, Aria-based products, AdLib, WinStorm and
  50.     others.
  51.     Special Effects include Amplify, Pan, Fade, Chorus, Flange, Echo,
  52.     Reverse, Mix, Insert and Rate Conversion.
  53.     Full support of Mono, Stereo, 8- and 16-bit files.

  57.     simple to operate and a pleasure to work with. It could very well be
