  8.                AST PREMIUM EXEC AND TOSHIBA EXPRESSWRITER 301

  11. PROBLEM:       When using a Toshiba ExpressWriter 301 portable printer on the
  12.                Premium Exec Notebook errors occur when attempting to print
  13.                through the parallel port (i.e., "write fault error on device
  14.                LPT1:: when copying files directly to the parallel port).
  15.  
  16. AFFECTED
  17. SYSTEM:        AST Premium Exec Notebook 386/SX-20
  18.  
  19. SOLUTION:      This is not an issue that AST can resolve.  Toshiba has
  20.                provided a software patch (INT17.COM) which may be added to
  21.                the AUTOEXEC.BAT file to resolve this problem.  Customers
  22.                experiencing this problem should contact Toshiba's Technical
  23.                Support for more information.
