  11. The following represents a problem as reported from the field:

  13. SYMPTOM:

  15. If the system is "powered on" and the printer is "not applied", the console
  16. is rendered inoperative.
  17.  
  18. CONFIGURATION:
  19.  
  20. Premium/386-25
  21. Unix System version 2.2.1, running Multi-User mode.
  22. Printer attached to parallel port on 386/25.
  23.  
  24. CAUSE:
  25.  
  26. This is a known problem with Interactive Systems Unix operating system.

  28. SOLUTION:
  29.  
  30. There is no known resolution at this time.  Customers experiencing the above
  31. problem should contact the manufacture Interactive Systems for details.
