Use 'Mine Entry' to add, change or
erase exchange entries. You can
add an unlimited number of entries.
This information is used to quickly
fill in the Mine portion of the
'Field Day' window. Just press the
F8 key from the 'Field Day' window.

characters for the search. Matching
entries are printed to the printer
(LPT1) or file (PRINTFD.DAT) in
Field Day format.

Use 'Choose QSOs' to select a search
field for the print operation. You
are prompted for search characters
after a field is selected. To submit
a contest log, use 'All QSOs'.

Use 'Notepad' to keep general notes
during the contest. Up to 10 pages
of text are saved when you exit.

Use 'Adjust Time' to change the length
of time message windows remain on the
screen. The default setting is 1.5
seconds. The setting remains in effect
until changed.

screen color combination. The colors
remain in effect until changed.

Use 'UTC +/-' to specify the time
difference (+ or -) in hours between
UTC and your local time zone. Press
F2 to save the value.
This value is used to change the
computer clock to read UTC when
MicroHam-FD is started and reset
to your local time when you exit.
To display the usual computer time
in MicroHam, use a '0' value.
∙ Esc: Cancel 'UTC +/-' without
saving changes
∙ F2: Save UTC value

Use 'Change Date/Time' to enter
a new date and time for the
current entry. Press F2 to
update the entry with a new
date and time.

Type a 'y' (yes) character to
start or continue the Field Day
contest. This starts the timer,
highlights worked sections and
starts other tracking functions.
In most cases you should answer
'y' to this prompt.

Type a 'y' (yes) character to
begin a new contest. A new log
is created and the QSO, Section
and Country counters are reset
to 0.
The previous log is renamed to
FIELD.OLD and the QSO count,
time and other values are saved
in OPTFD.OLD. If these files
already exist, you are prompted
to erase them.
