  1. GEOCLOCK 4.5 is a minor revision of GEOCLOCK 4.4.  The primary change is
  2. the addition of a setup program (SETUPGEO) that helps to configure time
  3. zone and city information.  The program and data files (GEOCxxxx.ZIP) are
  4. now distributed separately from the maps (GEOMAPxx.ZIP).  The following
  5. improvements have been added (* indicates new since 4.44):

  7. * SETUPGEO program added to aid in time zone, city, and graphics
  8.     configuration.
  9. * Maps have been revised to reflect border changes, including former
  10.     Yugoslavia.
  11. * HTS and HTA commands globally place primary city on maps
  12. * FCOLOR command controls the color of the frame around the map.
  13. * INCLUDE can be used from the command line and in scripts.
  14. * POSMN command allows map title to be placed anywhere on a map.
  15. * TEXTBG command allows text background color to be set.
  16. * NAUTICAL and STATUTE commands control the display of mile distances.
  17. * ST time zone added to give true local sun time
  18.   Script file processing added, including SCRIPT, RANDOM, REPEAT, and HALT.
  19.   Two new font sizes - T (4x6) and S (4x8)
  20.   FONT-E, FONT-M, FONT-S, and FONT-T commands added to set the default font
  21.     for the city and time display on maps.
  22.   Filled circle command (DRAWFCIRCLE)
  23.   While zooming, Z switches to the smallest map containing the point under
  24.     the cursor.
  25.   F, T, U, and R key commands can be used on the DOS command line and in
  26.     DAT files.
  27.   Both F1 and Escape can be used to exit help menus.
  28.   LLCOLOR commands controls color and style of lat/long lines and labels.

  30. The following bugs have been fixed in this version:

  33.   Incorrect sun display if ortho maps are displayed upon GEOCLOCK startup
  34. without NDP.
  35.   Erroneous sun display on ortho maps at certain times of day and year.
  36.   Erroneous sun display on ortho maps at certain times of day and year when
  37. using SVGA.
  38.   Improper handling of script lines near the end of script files.
  39.   Incorrect date under very rare circumstances.
  40.   Various rare errors due to incorrect data initialization.
