  1. If you are upgrading from a previous version just replace the old
  2. QRDB.EXE and QRDBMGR.EXE files with the new ones in this package.

  4. If you have type 3 Database files, use QRDBMgr to check Security levels.
  5. Add, Edit and Delete features have been added to the type 3 DataBase,
  6. and security level fields in QRDBMgr have been expanded to control
  7. access. One other thing on the type 3 DataBase field codes in QRDBMgr
  8. have also been changed to N,O,R and K. The old (D) code will be
  9. interperted as (O) in any existing files.

  17. When run in local mode or stand-alone full access to all features is
  18. given and levels do not apply.

  20. QRDB is being supplied is being supplied in both Non-Fossil and Fossil
  21. versions. The fossil version is in QRDB_FOS.EXE and is included. Some
  22. BBS systems running under a Fossil have found that the non Fossil
  23. version won't work with their system. I run a QuickBBS system and use
  24. the Non-Fossil version. I have had reports from Max and RA sysops that
  25. required the Fossil version. The Fossil version won't allow you to
  26. hang up on a user, but you can always use that button on the modem.

  28. If you get the Error message QRDB.Key not found or Corrupt, make sure
  29. you have the environment variable set, before looking for other
  30. problems. Example QRDB=C:\QRDBDIR set it to the directory that QRDB is
  31. located in.
