  5. the usage, below; provide your address and phone number; read, sign, and date
  6. this form; and print your name below your signature. If you wish to receive a
  7. coded key to enable additional functionality, fill in your name to use on the
  8. coded key, in the slots provided near the top of page 2.

  75.      The person, company, agency, or other entity making this registration
  76.      is referred to herein as "User".  Frederick W. Kantor, author of the
  77.      FWKCS(TM) Contents_Signature System software, is referred to herein as
  78.      "Author".  Said system and software is referred to herein as "FWKCS".
  79.  
  80.      User has received the Authenticity Verification Zipfile FWKCS120.ZIP,
  81.      containing FWKCS Version 1.20, on a test_before_you_decide basis, and
  82.      has not yet paid the corresponding registration fee to Author.  User has
  83.      tested FWKCS, and is satisfied with its performance.  On the basis of
  84.      User's own tests, User is now sending this payment to register FWKCS,
  85.      for the usage designated in the spaces provided on page 1 hereof.  This
  86.      payment is made on the basis of knowledge, in payment for value already
  87.      received, and is irrevocable.

  89.      User now wishes to test additional functionality of FWKCS as enabled
  90.      by a code key, using the name given above in the marked slots, again
  91.      on a test_before_you_decide basis, at no fee. As conditions for
  92.      receiving such a key, User agrees as follows:
  93.  
  94.      1. User will not provide to any person, nor distribute, the registered
  95.         version of FWKCS enabled by that key, nor any piece or portion of
  96.         the FWKCS executable code so enabled;
  97.  
  98.      2. User will keep that key confidential, and will not provide that key
  99.         nor a copy thereof, nor any method for making such a key, to any
  100.         person;
  101.  
  102.      3. User will test that additional functionality, at no fee; if User is
  103.         not using FWKCS in a public, commercial, school, institutional, or
  104.         governmental environment, then the time permitted for testing the
  105.         additional functionality before deciding whether to register for
  106.         Step 2 is left up to the good faith of User; otherwise, such
  107.         testing shall be for a period not to exceed 30 days from when User
  108.         receives the key, and User will, on the basis of User's direct
  109.         knowledge, then either register for the corresponding Step 2
  110.         (listed herein under Registration Prices) before the passage of
  111.         another 30 days following that 30 day test period, or will cease
  112.         and desist from using that additional functionality on or before
  113.         the end of that 30 day test period.

  115.      User understands and acknowledges that, because of the wide range of

  122.      conditions under which FWKCS may be used by User, Author does not have
  123.      a way to know what risks User may have in using FWKCS.  As a condition
  124.      for using FWKCS, User agrees to hold Author harmless from any of the
  125.      consequences of User's use of FWKCS.

  127.      The terms and provisions of this agreement shall be construed in
  128.      accordance with the laws of the State of New York and the United
  129.      States of America.
