  2.                           SHAREWARE LICENSE

  4.         This program is shareware and STRAT-TECH expects you to register 
  5.         the program if you use it.  Registration includes receiving the
  6.         latest version of the program and other benefits.  You have
  7.         15 days to evaluate the program free.

  10.          DEFINITION OF SHAREWARE
  11.  
  12.          Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software
  13.          before buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue
  14.          using it, you are expected to register. Individual programs
  15.          differ on details -- some request registration while others
  16.          require it, some specify a maximum trial period. With
  17.          registration, you get anything from the simple right to continue
  18.          using the software to an updated program.

  20.          Copyright laws apply to both Shareware and commercial software,
  21.          and the copyright holder retains all rights, with a few specific
  22.          exceptions as stated below. Shareware authors are accomplished
  23.          programmers, just like commercial authors, and the programs are
  24.          of comparable quality. (In both cases, there are good programs
  25.          and bad ones!) The main difference is in the method of
  26.          distribution. The author specifically grants the right to copy
  27.          and distribute the software, either to all and sundry or to a
  28.          specific group. For example, some authors require written
  29.          permission before a commercial disk vendor may copy their
  30.          Shareware.

  32.          Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software. You
  33.          should find software that suits your needs and pocketbook,
  34.          whether it's commercial or Shareware. The Shareware system makes
  35.          fitting your needs easier, because you can try before you buy.
  36.          And because the overhead is low, prices are low also. Shareware
  37.          has the ultimate money-back guarantee -- if you don't use the
  38.          product, you don't pay for it.

  40.          Anyone distributing the program for any kind of remuneration must
  41.          first contact Strat-Tech, Inc. for our authorization.
  42.          This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors
  43.          recognized by the (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines for
  44.          shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin offering
  45.          the program immediately (However, we must still be advised so
  46.          that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest
  47.          version of the program.). We require rack vendors who package
  48.          and sell our software obtain approval prior to distribution.

  50.          You are encouraged to pass a copy of the program along to your
  51.          friends for evaluation.  Please encourage them to register their
  52.          copy if they find that they can use it.  All registered users
  53.          will receive a copy of the latest version of the program
  54.          system.

  83.                        STRAT-TECH, INC. LICENSE AGREEMENT
  84.         
  85.         1. What this is:  This document will govern your use of the 
  86.         STRAT-TECH, INC. (STRAT-TECH BELOW) products furnished with 
  87.         it. (PROGRAM FOR A SMALL PLANET).  It is valid AFTER you register
  88.         the program via mail-in order form or telephone for the
  89.         registered version of the program.
  90.         
  91.         You agree to the terms of the agreement after executing the 
  92.         program the first time.  Do not execute the program without 
  93.         first reading, understanding, and agreeing to the terms and 
  94.         conditions of this agreement.

  96.         2. GRANT OF LICENSE.  STRAT-TECH hereby grants you, and you 
  97.         accept, a limited license to use the enclosed diskette (s), 
  98.         user manual(s), and any related materials (collectively called 
  99.         the "Software" in this agreement).  The software may be used 
  100.         by any number of people and may be moved from one computer to 
  101.         another provided it is only used by one person at a time on 
  102.         one computer at a time.  The Software may not be used or 
  103.         installed at more than one location at a time.  You may not 
  104.         rent, lease, lend, sublicense or otherwise transfer the 
  105.         Software or your rights hereunder.  
  106.         
  107.         3. STRAT-TECH's rights.  By accepting this agreement, you do 
  108.         not become the owner of the Software, but you do have the 
  109.         right to use the Software in accordance with this agreement.  
  110.         The software is protected by copyright, trade secret, and 
  111.         trademark law.  You acknowledge that the Software is the sole 
  112.         and exclusive property of STRAT-TECH, developed or acquired by 
  113.         it at great expense.  You agree to use your best efforts and 
  114.         all reasonable steps to protect the Software from unauthorized 
  115.         use, reproduction, or distribution except as specifically 
  116.         authorized by this License Agreement.

  118.         All copies of the software must contain any STRAT-TECH 
  119.         copyright.  All other copies of the program and its 
  120.         documentation are in violation of this agreement.

  122.         4. TERM.  This agreement is effective from the day you execute the 
  123.         registered program the first time.  The rights granted by 
  124.         STRAT-TECH to you by this agreement shall be effective until 
  125.         terminated.  If you breach any of the terms or conditions of this 
  126.         agreement, such rights shall automatically terminate without any 
  127.         notice from STRAT-TECH to you.

  129.         5. YOUR ORIGINAL DISKETTE/ARCHIVAL COPIES.  You are authorized 
  130.         to make copies  of the software for the purpose of having 
  131.         backup and working copies.  All physical copies of the 
  132.         Software must contain any STRAT-TECH copyright as on the 
  133.         original.

  135.         6. WARRANTY.   STRAT-TECH warrants to the original licensee 
  136.         that the disk(s) on which the software is recorded shall be 
  137.         free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal 
  138.         use and service for a period of 30 days from the date of 
  139.         delivery as evidenced by shipping records.  STRAT-TECH's 
  140.         entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be 
  141.         replacement of any disk which does not meet STRAT-TECH's 
  142.         limited warranty and which is returned to STRAT-TECH.  If 
  143.         failure of the disk has resulted from accident, abuse, or 
  144.         misapplication of the product, STRAT-TECH shall have no 
  145.         responsibility to replace the disk.  If for any reason STRAT-
  146.         TECH should fail to replace any disk in accordance with this 
  147.         limited warrant, or if for any reason the limited remedy 
  148.         provided for by this paragraph should be determined to be 
  149.         invalid or inapplicable to any claim which is based upon or 
  150.         related to this agreement or the Software, the aggregate 
  151.         liability of STRAT-TECH and anyone else whose has been 
  152.         involved in the creation, production or distribution of the 
  153.         software nevertheless shall be limited to the amount paid by 
  154.         you for the Software.

  156.         The above are the only warranties of any kind, either 
  157.         expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied 
  158.         warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular 
  159.         purpose that are made by STRAT-TECH or any other person 
  160.         involved in the creation, production or distribution of the 
  161.         software.  
  162.         
  163.         The software is intended to be used only as a tool and not as 
  164.         a professional adviser.  Neither STRAT-TECH nor anyone else 
  165.         involved in the creation, production or distribution of the 
  166.         software warrants, guarantees, or makes any representations 
  167.         regarding the use of the software in terms of correctness, 
  168.         accuracy, reliability, currency, or otherwise, and you rely on 
  169.         the software and results solely at your own risk.
  170.         
  171.         Neither STRAT-TECH nor anyone else who has been involved in 
  172.         the creation, production, or distribution of this software 
  173.         shall be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or 
  174.         incidental damages  arising out of the use, the results of 
  175.         use, or inability to use the software even if STRAT-TECH or 
  176.         any such other party has been advised of the possibility of 
  177.         such damages.
