  1.   This disk demonstrates Bar Code LEM.  Bar Code LEM allows you to print bar 
  2.   codes in any of 12 symbologies and 6 densities to most laser or dot matrix 
  3.   printers.

  5.   This programs includes an installation program that adds bar code support 
  6.   to your existing model files.
  7.  
  8.   The demo program on this disk will allow you to test the output using your
  9.   printer.  The included .APP file shows how easy it is to add Bar Code
  10.   support to your applications.

  12.   To demonstrate this LEM run BLDEMO.EXE from the enclosed disks.  These 
  13.   programs are menu driven and will allow you to print a sample of many 
  14.   bar codes or sizes of text.  You can also test a particular symbology or 
  15.   output by entering the parameters.

  30.                               ===Bar Code LEM===

  32.   Bar  Code LEM gives  a Clarion Programmer  the ability to  easily print Bar
  33.   Codes  directly from Designer  or from Editor.   The developer  can mix and
  34.   match different symbologies in the same Designer group, or even on the same
  35.   line.   Bar Code LEM  programs can be created  entirely within Designer, or
  36.   easily  added to Editor procedures.  It is not necessary to use the Editor.
  37.   Bar  Code  LEM  controls  most  options  through  a  set  of  global memory
  38.   variables.   These can be set to  change the operation of any program using
  39.   the SETUP procedure in Designer.
  40.   A  developer can print a bar code by simply placing a calculated field in a
  41.   report  within Designer.   You may also  call the function  directly from a
  42.   procedure  built in Editor.   A call to the  BARCODE function takes care of
  43.   all the details of printing the bar code.
