  1.                    THE SURVEY ANALYSIS PROGRAM

  3.     The SURVEY instructions are contained in the file SURVEY.DOC. 
  4. You can send this to your printer by typing <copy survey.doc prn> 
  5. and follow by pressing ENTER, or they can be printed from the Main 
  6. Menu Option VIEW/PRINT - PRINT INSTRUCTIONS.  These instructions 
  7. consist of 34 pages of text.  Abbreviated instructions and help 
  8. can be obtained from the LEARN/HELP Option in the Main Menu.

  10.     Be sure, however, to PRINT and READ the complete instructions.
  11. It will be much easier to proceed after you have read them.

  13.    Before designing your survey you will find it helpful to review 
  14. the section in the instructions entitled "Designing a Survey".
  15.  
  16. NOTE:
  17.     This Release 4.3 of SURVEY produces questionnaire PROFILE
  18. files which, because of increased size, cannot be used with 
  19. PROFILE files produced by releases prior to 4.2.  Data files
  20. are compatible with former releases, however.  The profile size
  21. increase is caused by the inclusion of the text of the survey
  22. questions.  The entire questionnaire can now be printed and
  23. edited, in addition to the detailed analysis and report.

  26.     To start SURVEY, type <survey> from the DOS prompt and follow
  27.  with ENTER.
