  1. There are 12 data files.  Each program uses its own data file that requires
  2. either six or seven entries.  The data file tells the program: Display
  3. width (40 or 80), text color, background color, the display delay in
  4. milliseconds, the transition control selection (press any key, timed, or
  5. continuous, the American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII)
  6. code number of the character to be used for the moving bar and screen
  7. cover, and for RANRE.EXE (only) whether to include a random character
  8. cover.  Because SHOW1.EXE requires more than two colors, the data files
  9. only have a limited control of the color plan.
