  14. program is the premier legal forms generator available whether
  15. commercial or shareware-- over 235 different forms can be
  16. generated. Of course, we are much more than a document generator.

  18. statutes and regulations.

  45. What does the program do?
  46.  
  47. You really receive 4 programs in one. The first, is a educational
  48. program to read, review and learn your legal rights by reviewing,
  49. on screen, the FULL annotated text of laws and governmental
  50. regulations. The annotations, prepared by an attorney, carefully
  51. point the out the parts of the statute that are very important
  52. for your legal rights.

  54. LEGAL FORMS: The program features an artificial intelligence
  55. document generation program that prepares the following legal
  56. forms. In many instances each form has several different
  57. variations that you program by answering on screen questions. At
  58. this time the program can generate over 226 different forms,
  59. drawn from over 193 categories. (A complete list is contained in
  60. the manual)

  62. TUTORIALS
  63.  
  64. This program also features tutorials, which are instructional
  65. texts that explain the nuts and bolts of various legal problems
  66. in an easy to understand way. In addition, the tutorials feature
  67. an on-line dictionary and the ability to examine both full text
  68. of the laws and the explanation on screen.

  71. WORD PROCESSOR

  73. A recent addition is an on-line word processor which you can use
  74. to alter forms once completed.

  77. We also have a DOS shell which allows you to perform system
  78. functions or run other program without exiting this Legal guide.

  80. THIS PROGRAM IS NOT CRIPPLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  82. The disk and files which you have RUN identically to the
  83. registered version of the Home and Business Legal Guide, (however
  84. the registration encouragement screen and information is disabled
  85. in the registered version) but do not have all of the legal data
  86. and forms of the registered version. Where are all the forms?
  87. That's a good question. The entire program takes approximately 3
  88. megabytes, and archived requires about 1 meg when archived.
  89. That's a lot of data. Many bulletin board services limit access
  90. to 45 minutes daily. At 2400 baud you couldn't download the
  91. program in the allotted time. Therefore, we couldn't get the word
  92. out about our program. To have an evaluation copy of reasonable
  93. size, we have left out some of the data. Shareware is a great way
  94. to distribute software, and the "try before you buy" idea is
  95. tremendous. If you want to try the full package before
  96. registering, check with a disk vendor. Member boards of the
  97. Shareware Distribution Network should have all of the data as
  98. well as our own board and many selected systems around the USA
  99. including:

  101. EXEC PC; The Invention Factory; Rustie N' Edie's BBS. Many other
  102. BBS systems receive the full 3 disk version as an upload by other
  103. users, and we are pleasantly surprised to see our work on many
  104. BBS systems once we get there!

  106. Another way to see the whole thing is to visit your local
  107. shareware distributor.

  109. To summarize, although you do not have all of the data you do
  110. have ALL of the features of the program. THE REGISTERED VERSION
  111. OF THE PROGRAM DISABLES THE OPENING SCREEN AND REGISTRATION
  112. ENCOURAGEMENT INFORMATION.

  114. The program requires an IBM compatible PC, XT, AT, 386 or 486
  115. system running DOS 3.3 or higher with at least 448 K free memory
  116. with a hard drive (fixed disk). NO GRAPHICS CAPABILITY IS
  117. REQUIRED, but a graphics adapter is recommended. A modem and a
  118. printer are recommended.

  121. manual then please review the full manual. To print the manuals,
  122. be sure that your printer is on line, has ribbons and paper and
  123. enter from a DOS prompt "pguide."

  175. ABOUT SHAREWARE

  180. Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software
  181. before buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue
  182. using it, you are expected to register. (Our policy is listed
  183. above) Individual programs differ on details-- some request
  184. registration while others require it, some specify a maximum
  185. trial period. With registration, you get anything from the simple
  186. right to continue using the software to an updated program with
  187. printed manual.
