  19.   ■ Several people expressed that GOSCAN still hung on the Message Stats
  20.     at pass #2.  After carefully examining numerous GOMAIL.LOG files, I
  21.     concluded that it was a programming fault due to the fact that GOMAIL
  22.     sometimes had Forwarded lines with "- xxxx (xxxxxxx / MIN)".  The length
  23.     of the string didn't match-up in the structures so it was altered and it
  24.     should now work perfectly!
  25.   ■ Fixed problems in the configuration program dealing with blank lines that
  26.     wrap themselves to the next line...

  28. Released Version 2.01:

  30.   ■ While in FULL release, a user of GOSCAN reported an Overflow in the
  31.     generation of the bulletins for conference statistics.  When GOSCAN
  32.     found that the conference name was blank, it would send an Overflow
  33.     message because the fixed counter would exceed 32000+ characters.
  34.     We've fixed it to were it won't exceed 100 characters because the
  35.     tech length of the string is 25 anyways.  It should work right now!

  37. Released Version 2.00:

  39.   ■ Converted ALL databases to Binary Formats.  This allows for quicker
  40.     accessing and faster editing.
  41.   ■ Added 2 new output files to generate Conference Statistics and Stats for
  42.     TNet users.  The usage of GOMAIL is required to use the TNet functions.
  43.   ■ Reads the GOCONF.DAT created by GOMAIL and CONFDESC.DAT created by
  44.     WILDCAT! Bbs.  This is were it creates the GSCONF.DAT file that contains
  45.     the conference's received packets, sent bytes, charge on mail, conference
  46.     TAG, and Conference name.
  47.   ■ Charge specific nodes for mail (SysOp configurable on 1k of mail)
  48.   ■ Added feature of using a DEMO/REGISTERED Key File.  We added this to help
  49.     continue the success of GOSCAN since the long and hard hours we have put
  50.     into developing this program.
  51.   ■ GSCNCNFG.EXE has been broken down into 2 different, highly indepth prgms
  52.     in which GSCONFIG.EXE configures GOSCAN and GSEDIT.EXE edits the data
  53.     files.
  54.   ■ The menus are now accessable ONLY by the cursor keys instead of HOTKEY
  55.     button pressing.  Sorta makes it more professional, <G>!
  56.   ■ Better programming ALL together!

  60.   ■ Found that 10 nodes weren't just enough, so it was upped to 30 to allow
  61.     more node information statistics.
  62.   ■ Reprogrammed configuration program to allow editing of ALL database files
  63.     and to add/delete from them.  The configuration program also allows you to
  64.     import/export configuration files easily.  New menu commands were also
  65.     added (About GOSCAN and Bbs Information).
  66.   ■ Added in new command line parameters (i.e.: /MONTHLY, /NODISPLAY, etc.)
  67.   ■ Reprogrammed the looks of the program to be more professional looking!
  68.   ■ Databases altered (still ASCii) due to program needs.
  69.   ■ In General Stats, we added the field to tell what version of GOMail you
  70.     are using and total number of messages purged.
  71.   ■ Corrected the HANGUP problems found in v1.10.
