The following features are included :
With the below listed lores screenmodes difference scanning and refresh only
works with the currently visible area of the mac display.
Saving cpu cycles, especially for non mmu usage.
The skipy driver only converts every other pixel in the y direction.
(50% totally)
The skipxy driver only converts every other pixel in the x and y directions.
(25% totally)

(you can set the mac screen size how big you wan't in all above cases)
With older workbench3.0 versions of the monitor drivers the 160*xxx modes
are not selectable. But it's just to change to newer drivers
(maybe even to be found on aminet).
Short tech
----------
The doublescale mode with the normal (non skip) driver and the
full scale modes with the skip drivers are achieved by simple use of
the copper. And take NO EXTRA CPU TIME ((except when scrolling the screen)).
These modes, direct banging hardware registres on a system screen are
definitely to be considered as hacks.
Speed notes
-----------
Use the skipxy modes with wisdom.
It is for instance much faster to run a 3d game in a 160*100 window
(whenever it is possible) with the normal driver than in a 320*200 window
with the skipxy driver.
If you have a multiscan or vga monitor, the full scale skipxy mode is
faster than the half scale skipxy mode as difference scanning works
with a smaller area, especially for non mmu usage.
The idea with the doublescale mode is mainly for use with 3d games where
the window size is reduceable to 160*100 and thus get them running
smooth and fullscreen at the same time ( like with good old doom :-) )
, even when you aren't a lucky 060 owner.
