  3.                           INSTRUCTIONS

  6.   This is NO replacement for the manual you'll get when you registrate, but
  7. you'll find everything here you need to play the demo.
  8.  
  9.   INTERPRETER-KEYMAP
  10.   ------------------
  11.   Cursor left        - Moves the cursor one character to the left
  12.   Cursor right       - Moves the cursor one character to the right
  13.   Cursor up/down     - With these two keys you can scroll through your last
  14.                        inputs (History)
  15.   Shift-Cursor left  - Jumps to the beginning of the input line
  16.   Shift-Cursor right - Jumps to the end of the input line
  17.   Shift-Cursor up    - Jumps to the first history-line
  18.   Shift-Cursor down  - Jumps to the last history-line
  19.   Escape             - clears the input line
  20.   Help               - "The Timeless Empire" allows you to recall common
  21.                        commands with the function keys. Press HELP, then
  22.                        the function key you'd like to define (F1 - F10,
  23.                        Shift-F1 - Shift-F10). Enter the text, then press
  24.                        RETURN. A '|' at the end of the line means that the
  25.                        game automatically performs a RETURN after inserting
  26.                        the text. To insert the text into the input line,
  27.                        simply press the function key you defined.
  28.   (Shift-)F1-F10     - see Help
  29.   Backspace          - Deletes the character left of the cursor
  30.   Delete             - Deletes the character under the cursor
  31.   Return/Enter       - Ends the input

  34.   STORY-COMMANDS
  35.   --------------
  36.   QUIT               - Quit the game
  37.   RESTART            - Start the game from the beginning
  38.   LOOK               - Shows you the description of the room again.
  39.   PLAY               - In "The Timeless Empire", you can control several
  40.                        characters: Coron, Rygar, Marmion, Vyvien and your
  41.                        own character. The group always travels together,
  42.                        there's no way to split them up. Please note that
  43.                        sometimes you cannot change to another person.
