  4. Startup screen program for Amigas with Workbench release 37 (2.04) or higher.

  15. You will notice that there's no runnable program here.  To try out BootScreen,
  16. you must install it using the Install script.  Don't be afraid to do this,
  17. because I have thoughtfully provided an UnInstall ("Remove") script that
  18. will undo the Install for you in one quick pass.

  21. You may install the program right now -- it doesn't take much space, and
  22. the procedure is quick and easy.  All you need to remember is to read the
  23. help texts.  Once that's done, just go into your Prefs drawer and run the
  24. new BootScreen editor you'll have there.  Load up a picture, save, and reboot.

  26. That's it!  You will, of course, want to read the documentation.

  40. BootScreen V2.00 is ShareWare.  It's not GimmeMoneyWare.  I've spent a good
  41. deal of time on this project, and hope that at least some people will show
  42. their appreciation for my work with a very small donation.  This isn't to
  43. make money, this is to see if the Amiga community still supports its
  44. starving students.

  52. REGISTRATION

  54.    When you register, you will receive a disk containing the latest version
  55.    of BootScreen, and it will be a custom registered version just for you.
  56.    I don't feel that specially compiled versions for 020 or higher are
  57.    necessary, since the routines aren't particularly time-intensive,
  58.    and the marjority of execution time is spent opening or displaying
  59.    the picture, which are functions in iff.library.  Also on the disk will
  60.    be as many sample pictures as will fit, more than enough for your startup
  61.    screen needs!

  64.    The registration levels are as follows:

  66.    $5    Basic registration.  This is a small amount of money!!!  This
  67.          covers the registered version of the disk and U.S. postage
  68.          ONLY.  For International orders, add $5 U.S. to any order.
  69.          
  70.    $10   Uprgade registration.  Will get you upgrade notices in the
  71.          mail for one year and significant discounts on upgrades.  Will
  72.          also get you my personal approval as well as notices for other
  73.          products by myself.  :>

  75.    $11+  If you choose to send additional cash or other gifts (even
  76.          a postcard will be cherished), we can arrange specific rewards.
