  6. This  is  a  significant new release of Yak, with an improved interface and
  7. more  extensibility regarding hotkeys.  Users of earlier versions should at
  8. least briefly reread the documentation.  If you currently use v1.3 or v1.4,
  9. you  should  run  the  supplied  Convert  program  to make preference files
  10. readable  by  Yak v1.5.  But do read the section directed at existing users
  11. in the documentation.

  13. The documentation is now in AmigaGuide format, which, thanks to Commodore's
  14. (eventual)  sense  in  making  this  system  public,  should  become widely
  15. available  in  the  near  future.   However, for those unlucky enough to be
  16. without AmigaGuide, the file "Yak.doc" is a simple-minded conversion of the
  17. guide to straight ASCII (using a simple-minded program).

  19. If  you haven't used Yak before, you'll have no preferences to convert, and
  20. so  no  hotkeys  will  be  defined  when  you  start Yak.  To rectify this,
  21. double-click  on  the  "Install  Default Hotkeys" icon which copies a small
  22. file to your S: directory.
