  1.     Congratulations! By purchasing the ThunderBYTE Anti-Virus utilities you
  2.     have taken the basic step in building a massive anti-viral safety wall
  3.     around your precious computer system. Setting up the appropriate defense
  4.     using the TBAV utilities is a  personal matter.  Therefore, we recommend
  5.     to read this manual thoroughly, so you are well aware of the different
  6.     kinds of security measures you can take.

  9.     This manual consists of six chapters.
  10.  
  11.          Chapter 1 provides you with the fastest way to get started with the
  12.          TBAV utilities. It presents the major features of the program in a
  13.          step-by- step format. We recommend that you start with this chapter.

  15.          Chapter 2 contains instruction on how to prevent viruses from
  16.          infecting your computer system and directions on how to handle
  17.          viruses when they do strike. We recommend that you also read this
  18.          chapter because it contains several useful tips.

  20.          Chapter 3 contains a detailed description of both the purpose and
  21.          functionality of all the TBAV for DOS utilities.
  22.  
  23.          Chapter 4 contains  advanced user information  for those users who
  24.          are more technically oriented.

  26.          Chapter 5 contains the documentation for TBAV for Windows and
  27.          all of the associated Windows-based utilities. For more
  28.          information about the Windows 95 or Windows NT versions of
  29.          TBAV, please contact your nearest ThunderBYTE distributor.

  31.          Chapter 6 contains the documentation for TBAV for Networks,
  32.          the network version of the utilities. If you need this

  35.     This manual also contains five appendices. Appendix A describes TBAV
  36.     messages, Appendix B describes heuristic flags, Appendix C addresses some
  37.     incompatibility problems, Appendix D lists various exit codes for use in
  38.     batch files, and Appendix E contains information on naming viruses.
  39.     Finally, the Index provides you with the means of quickly finding any
  40.     major topic.
