  10. Abracadabra 1.1 is multipurpose utility for view and edit text and grafic files.
  11.  
  12. Abracadabra 1.1 has the following features:
  13.  
  14. -new interface;
  15. -quick navigation in both files and catalogues (one left/right mouse click performs all necessary functions);
  16. -the files box is always present "under a hand"; 
  17. -view and edit text-files ( including files larger than 64kb);
  18. -view and edit RTF, WRI files ;
  19. -convert text from Windows to DOS- format and vice versa;
  20. -convenient viewing of graphic files of the following formats: BMP, JPG,  WMF, EMF, PCX, TGA, DIB, RLE, ICO;
  21. -save images in bmp format;
  22. -zoom in/out and movement of images on screen (all this is done with the mouse, without using rulers and buttons); 
  23. -set any image as tiled or centered desktop wallpaper;
  24. -slideshow mode;
  25. -copy image in clipboard;
  26. -support of standard file opperations: rename, delete, open document in associated program;
  27. -local files navigation (forward/back/history functions).

  42. Public Domain. You may use the shareware version for 30 days.

  45. Name and Registration key from the author to tell Abracadabra 1.1 that
  46. you have paid the shareware fee.

  50. Paying for Abracadabra 1.1 is fairly simple. Open the Register program, that
  51. accompanies Abracadabra 1.1, by starting up the file REGISTER.EXE. Enter your 
  52. name, your email address, and the number of single user licenses you
  53. desire for each program you wish to purchase. Save or Copy or Print
  54. the data from the Register program and send the data and payment
  55. to Kagi Shareware. For further information open the REGISTER.HLP file.

  73. Create a new directory (e.g. \abra) and unzip the ABRA1.ZIP
  74. file to it. You can also unzip the file to any existing
  75. directories on your system if you wish.
  76. You can place NVIEWLIB.DLL from ABRA1.ZIP in the Windows system 
  77. directory or you can store this file in installation directory.

  82. Start ABRA.EXE from Windows environment (by double click in 
  83. Explorer for example).

  124. This is a new shell for Windows95. "Bonjour" hides the standard desktop 
  125. of Win95. In the "Bonjour" workspace, you can place any number of buttons 
  126. or pictures. These objects can have any form or dimensions. All objects can 
  127. run external programs or internal shell commands. The number of forms 
  128. (screens) can range from 1 to 999. Any screen object can be set to switch 
  129. from one form to another. Using "Bonjour", you can build any interface for 
  130. your computer. All settings and pictures are stored in a database file. 
  131. You can even make more than one database and use objects with links to go 
  132. from one database to another!

  141. WAV and AudioCD Player.  I wanted to make a beautiful and easy-to-use player.
  142. This program doesn't have the standard grey buttons and doesn't use 
  143. double-clicking. I use "Melody" to listen to music both from the hard drive 
  144. and CDs. The program allows one to play all WAV files from one catalogue and 
  145. to compose lists of songs from different catalogs.

  152. This is a small, simple and beautiful program for searching for icons in files.
  153. This program will scan a drive for EXE, DLL, ICO, and BMP files and show 
  154. all icons found in them in a listing. Then it is possible to either copy any icon 
  155. found to the clipboard or to save it as a file (ICO or BMP). Another function of 
  156. program is manipulations with desktop wallpaper. You can use any found 
  157. icon or bmp-file as wallpaper. Only one click and you can see the result on the 
  158. screen. This function reminds mosaic game.
