  3. The MegaA/V CD-ROM contains GIF images and sound files for
  4. both Soundblaster and Windows.  A collection of shareware and
  5. public domain graphics and sound manipulation utilities is 
  6. also included.
  7.  
  8. An SVGA GIF viewer was added to MegaSearch for this disc.
  9. You may now view GIF files within MegaSearch for DOS without
  10. using an external viewer (compatible cards only).  See the
  11. online documention or MEGASRCH.DOC for more information.
  12.  
  13. An INSTALL program is included to automate our software 
  14. installation process. Please note that the install program also 
  15. can install support software for MegaCD-ROM 1, MegaCD-ROM 2, 
  16. MegaWinOS/2 A, SDN1 Plus, MegaROM-1, and the FAO collection. 
  17. The software contained on this CD-ROM is the most recent 
  18. available at the time of pressing. (10/92)

  20. Much of the software on this CD-ROM is designated as some form 
  21. of "Shareware."  Shareware software is not free.  Shareware is 
  22. a try-before-you-buy method of software distribution.  Please 
  23. read the individual author's comments on the registration of 
  24. his or her product.  If you use a Shareware product you should 
  25. pay for it - just like commercial software.  Shareware authors 
  26. rely on your good will and honesty.

  28. Some software, however, is designated "Public domain" or 
  29. "freeware." Such software usually will not require any 
  30. registration.  If a registration is required it is usually just 
  31. a post card to the author - to let him or her know that you 
  32. like and use the product.

  34. Certain programs on the disc, such as hard drive optimizers and
  35. low level disk editors, can potentially damage your equipment. 
  36. Profit Press will not be held responsible for damages incurred 
  37. through the use of this disc, or any programs/data contained on 
  38. these discs.

  40. All efforts have been made to insure that the disc is 100% 
  41. virus free.  No known viruses are on this disc.  Similarly we 
  42. have tried to insure that no commercial software is present on 
  43. the disc.
