  7. Congratulations:
  8.     You have selected the best (and only) PC compatible
  9.     4 channel digitized music composing utility. You
  10.     have also installed it, which is quite a remarkable
  11.     accomplishment.

  13. Files distributed with Scream Tracker (after installation):

  28. Important notice:
  29.     Scream Tracker, and it's utilities playing music DON'T
  30.     like working together with QEMM, 386MAX or other 386
  31.     specific memory programs which use the VM86 mode. It's 
  32.     best that you disable them when using Scream Tracker.
  33.     
  34. Another important notice:
  35.     Do not rename ST.EXE. It must reside in the System directory
  36.     in it's original condition!
  37.     
  38. Playing musics to cassette:
  39.     To play many musics in batch mode, create a batch file which
  40.     runs ST with followin commandline:
  41.     ST <songname> /S
  42.     make these rows for every music you want to play, and then
  43.     run the batch file! ST does the rest (except presses REC on
  44.     your tape recorder...)
  45.     
  46. Converting Amiga samples:
  47.     Distributed with Screm Tracker there is CSAMP.EXE which
  48.     will convert amiga samples (<64K) to ST samples. To convert
  49.     for example NICESAMP type CSAMP NICESAMP.
  50.     
  51. Converting Voxkit samples:
  52.     Distributed with Screm Tracker there is CSAMP.EXE which
  53.     will convert voxkit samples (<64K) to ST samples. To convert
  54.     for example NICESAMP type CSAMP NICESAMP. Remark that 
  55.     Voxkit samples must be in unpacked 8 bit format!
  56.     
  57. The example song:
  58.     The song (titled: SONG) is an example of different
  59.     commands used in ST, and is NOT (as you will soon
  60.     notice) a piece of great music. These will be availible
  61.     elsewhere. It demostrates the use of nearly all commands
  62.     availible, and is mainly meant for studying...
  63.     
  64. Program update/registeration and newer versions:
  65.     This program and it's related utilites are supported
  66.     in Silicon Dragon MBBS (+358-(9)21-500318). 
  67.     In Silicon, general talk about Scream Tracker can
  68.     be found in the Scream Tracker conference, and files
  69.     suprisingly from Scream Tracker file-area.

  71. Special mode:
  72.     The ST can be started with two asterisks as a parameter (ST **)
  73.     In this mode a special options menu is displayed, which can be used
  74.     to verify the owner and for other task described in future.
  75.     The first code question only affects running so called STP programs.
