  30. This  software is mail-ware, that means that if you like it or you use it often,
  31. you have to  send  me  an e-mail, mail, postcard, with comments and suggestions.
  32. This  way  I  can  understand if i have to continue the developement or to leave
  33. everything and go to mountains for a walk :-)

  35. WHY EXTMAN ?
  36.  
  37. ExtMan  was  born  because  I  was  tired  and bored by continuously opening and
  38. closing  windozes  only  to edit, add or modify a dosdriver or move a printer in
  39. the devs:printers directory. So  in  a black and stormy night I decided to write
  40. this simple proggy that permits to handle easily the "system extensions".

  42. WHAT IS EXTMAN ?
  43.  
  44. ExtMan is an "Extension Manager". You can consider extensions all the files that
  45. add some property, patch or functionality to the system, that is:
  46.  
  47. Dataypes
  48. DosDrivers
  49. Keymaps
  50. Monitors
  51. Printers
  52. Startup (Wbstartup)
  53.  
  54. Extman  permits  to mount or dismount these extensions without taking a walk in
  55. the system directories.

  57. INSTALLATION
  58.  
  59. 1- You have to copy the ExtMan Drawer where you want.
  60. 2- if you don't have it you have to copy the wizard.library in you libs:
  61.    directory.
  62.    (you can find the wizard.library on Aminet/biz/haage/wizardlibrary.lha)
  63. 3- Extman also support the wbstart.library (if already installed,
  64.    otherwise you can't run the commodities) 
  65. 4- The audio files used by Extman are normal Iff 8svx files

  67. HOW IT WORKS

  69. I hope  that  the  program  its  simple enaught not to need boring instructions.
  70. In fact Extman  was  born for those people who doesn' t have a lot of experience
  71. with the AmigaOs. (and also for italian people who never reads the docs :-) 
  72. Extman  has  also  a usefull "help online" option: by pointing a button with the
  73. mouse you will get immediatly an explanatory comment on the bottom of the window.

  75. ExtMan saves automatically (at exit) a preference file called ExtMan.prefs in
  76. the program directory
