  1. This string gadget stores the OFFSET of the first character which
  2. should be included in the Check Sum calculation.  In most cases,
  3. this OFFSET will coincide with the first `data' byte.

  5. If the sysex does not contain a check sum, this string gadget should
  6. store the OFFSET of the first character of the `data' portion of the
  7. sysex file.

  9. *  This string gadget will always display a decimal numeric value.   *
  10. *  If you wish to enter a hexadecimal value, simply key the letter   *
  11. *  'H' after the number.  The hexidecimal number will automatically  *
  12. *  be converted to display as decimal;  i.e.  1aH, 23h, 4FH will be  *
  13. *  considered hexidecimal values and will be converted to decimal.   *
