  7. This file contains problem-records and bug-reports.  Unsolved problems
  8. and uncorrected but known bugs (so called features) start out with two
  9. exclamation marks before the number.  Fixed problems will start with two
  10. asterisks.

  13. ** (1)  FMi 90/06/14: \extracolsep will not work in the preamble.
  14.        Fixed with version 2.1.

  16. ** (2) JBr 90/08/14: Preamble of the from @{..}>{..} will expand >
  17.         expression.
  18.        Fixed FMi 90/08/14: in version 2.0c.

  21. ** (3) DDu 90/08/17: Mixing array and tabular inside \multicolumn
  22.         commands will not work properly because \d@llar is defined
  23.         globally.

  26. ** (4) FMi 92/02/07: # inside the constructed preamble was not
  27.         surrounded by braces. This is necessary to let array run
  28.         correctly with the new font selection scheme (one might get a
  29.         mysterious extra space).  I thought that this was corrected
  30.         long time ago, but ...
  31.        Fixed in version 2.0e.

  33. ** (5)  ?? 92/02/29: if any of the special chars for tabular have been
  34.        changed their catcode then the tabular would bomb. This was for
  35.        example the case when comining ams-latex and array.
  36.       Fixed FMi 92/02/29: in version 2.0f

  38. ** (6) FMi 92/02/29: the bug fix for \@tfor was removed because it was
  39.         corrected in latex.tex. array.sty will now output an error if
  40.         an older latex release is used.

  42. ** (7) MGo 92/03/13: \hdotfor from amstex.sty will not work with
  43.         array.sty. More generally, leaders will be killed within an
  44.         array environment. This means that (4) needs to be handled
  45.         differently.

  48. ****** FMi 92/07/04: Version 2.1 of array incorporates the
  49.         \newcolumntype feature formerly found in `newarray.sty' by DCa
  50.         (under the name \newcolumn). This release also contains all
  51.         other tabular and array extensions by David in form of
  52.         contributed files.
