- Here follows a brief summary on how to install the PostScript
- stuff for SpecialHost.
-
- 1) Move the files contained in the directory 'SpecialHost/ps/' to
- a directory specified in the environment variable DVIPSHEADERS
- (this variable supports the EVPaths syntax). Note that
- the files `psfonts.map', `tex.pro' and `special.pro' are the same used
- by DVIPS, so if you have already installed DVIPS you should already
- have them in a correct place. The file 'init.ps' is instead from the
- (HWG)Post.library distribution.
-
- 2) Move the file 'SpecialHost/libs/post.library' to your LIBS:
- directory. If you have a 68020/30+68881/2 or 68040 CPU
- you can use the file 'post.library.20' instead (but remember to rename it
- to 'post.library'). If you have already installed the post.library
- (i.e. HWGPost beta 6) or a newer library you may skip this step.
-
- 3) Copy the file 'SpecialHost/ps/HWGPOSTResources' to 'POST:'. If you
- already have this file, merge the two 'HWGPOSTResources' files according
- to the PostScript Type-1 fonts you have installed.
- The file 'HWGPOSTResources' of this distribution provides entries
- for the standard 35 PostScript fonts and for the Bakoma font collection.
- It supposes you have installed the fonts into 'PSFONTS:'.
-
- 4) The Bakoma font collection is available at CTAN archives, while
- a PD version of the 35 standard PostScript fonts is avaible on Aminet
- into text/print/. A a commercial version of the 35 standard PostScript
- Type-1 fonts is available with the 'Adobe Type Manager' program
- and the 'Adobe Plus Package' from Adobe.
