  1. The Zipped programs on this CD-ROM are shareware and must be registered
  2. if you use them for more than a tryout period.
  3. So pay for the programs that you use. Otherwise the authors may stop
  4. writing them and that would make the world a more boring place to live.

  6. The descriptions of the files are contained in each directory in the
  7. FILES.BBS plus a complete list is in ALLFILES.TXT.

  9. To uncompress the programs on this CD-ROM, I suggest you use SHEZ, which
  10. is a very easy to use program.

  12. PKUNZIP 2.40g is in the \INSTALL\PKZIP204 directory.
  13. ARJ 2.41 is in the \INSTALL\ARJ241 directory
  14. UNARJ 2.41 is in the \INSTALL\ARJ241\UNARJ directory
  15. SCAN 112 is in the \INSTALL\MCAFEE\SCAN111 directory
  16. CLEAN 112 is in the \INSTALL\MCAFEE\CLEAN111 dirctory
  17. SHEZ 9.7 is in the \INSTALL\SHEZ directory
  18. VPIC 6.0c is in the \INSTALL\VPIC60C directory

  20. What you should do is to execute UNWARP.BAT with the letter of the drive 
  21. you want to have the CD-ROM essentials copied to (UNWARP C:).

  23. We have also added a few bonus programs to this CD-ROM, however they are not
  24. automatically installed together with the above broducts. Look in the \INSTALL
  25. directory to see whats there.

  27. Note on the use of Linux:

  29. The supplied Linux Slackware Distribution is version 1.03 containing Linux
  30. kernel v0.99p11, it requires some experience in using UN*X. To find out how to
  31. install Linux on your computer please read the information files in the
  32. respective Linux directories. A set of installation disks may require from
  33. 4 to more than 30 formatted HD disks.
