Transcription: What made the autostereogram introduced by Christopher Tyler in 1979 so special was that for the first time it consisted of only one single image and was therefore also described as the single image stereogram. Auto or single image stereograms are created mostly by computer. The three-dimensional image information is integrated by the picture on the screen by means of a special algorithm.
