  5.  The binaries of GNU SuperOptimizer (alias gso) was compiled and linked with
  6.  GCC v2.3.3 PL1 and MiNTlibs PL30. They have been tested under MultiTOS v1.0
  7.  (MiNT 1.0), and also with plain old TOS 2.06. They seem to work just fine on
  8.  my setup, but I can't guarantee anything.

  10.  The gso-binaries was compiled with the -mbaserel option, so they should be
  11.  sharable under MiNT 0.96 (or later).

  13.  If you read the README file you will notice that gso supports 9 different
  14.  CPUs (68k, 68020, 88k, SPARC, RS/6000, AMD 29000, 80x86, Pyramid and Alpha)
  15.  and a whole bunch of nice functions. Unfortunately the choice of CPU is a
  16.  compile-time option which means you need one binary for _every_ CPU you wish
  17.  to play around with. I figured the binaries for 68k and 68020 was the only
  18.  ones worth including (since they each take some 45kb it would be a rather
  19.  big archive if I included binaries for all 9 CPUs :-).
