  1.                     ..... MIDITREE INSTRUCTIONS .....

  3. The midi tree program blinks lights on a Christmas tree as 
  4. controled by the music. 110 Christmas songs are included. Music 
  5. plays through a synthesizer or through the ST speaker.
  6.  
  7. To use the program first set your Atari ST to low resolution. Put 
  8. all the songs and the MIDITREE.PRG file one disk or directory.
  9. Click on MIDITREE.PRG to start the program. After the program 
  10. starts there are a few keys that start and stop it. 
  11.  
  12.       P       Play - start music playing
  13.       Q       Quit - the program stops and returns to desk top
  14.       R       Read - causes a disk directory to be read.
  15.       S       Speaker - turns on or off the ST internal speaker
  16.       Delete  Delete song - skips the song currently playing
  17.       Escape  stops all music from playing, it also exits the 
  18.               program when no music is playing.

  20. Any songs in Standard Midi File format will play providing they 
  21. end with the extender .MID, so you can use others besides those 
  22. provided with the program.

  25. file is included.
