- Redistribution is permitted only under the following conditions:
-
- (1) Non-profit redistribution (at no more than the cost of the disk
- the program is placed on, if any) is permitted in either source or
- binary forms, provided that this file, "mint.doc", and all "readme" files
- are included with the program, and provided further that if the source code
- is not included then directions for obtaining the source code are.
-
- (2) Redistribution for profit is permitted only with the express written
- permission of the author, except in the following cases:
- (a) Permission is hereby granted for MiNT to be distributed on commercial
- bulletin boards and on-line services, in either source or binary form,
- provided that the conditions of (1) are met, and further provided
- that no special charge (i.e. beyond the normal connection fees) is
- levied for downloading MiNT.
- (b) Permission is hereby granted for MiNT to be distributed on "public
- domain collection disks", such as are sold by user's groups and
- by some companies, provided that *all* source code and documentation
- is included, and provided that the price charged for disks containing
- MiNT is the same as the price for other disks in the collection, and
- is less than $10 in U.S. funds. Note that binary-only distributions
- of MiNT in this form are not permitted under this clause; the source
- code *must* be included.
- Distribution of MiNT with any profit-making product (software or hardware)
- is considered "distribution for profit" and requires a license.
-
- (3) Modified copies of MiNT must be clearly marked as such. Such modified
- copies may be distributed under the terms of (1) and (2), if they are
- accompanied by a file describing the changes made to MiNT.
-
- WARNING: This program does some very low level things to your computer.
- MiNT works well on my machine, and I trust my data to it. But
- then, I make regular backups, so even if a horrible bug in MiNT that
- I haven't found yet trashes my hard drive, I won't lose much. You'll
- have to decide for yourself about trusting your data to MiNT. I would
- certainly recommend regular backups in any event.

- DAMAGES INCURRED FROM THE USE OF IT. USE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
