  1.          The Eliemouse What Count's Next Game
  2.  
  3.       This is a counting game for young children that will help them
  4. master counting of numbers. Eliemouse presents a series of four numbers
  5. and the child must figure out the fifth number by discovering the digit
  6. added to each of the previous numbers.  For example, let's say the first
  7. four numbers were as follows:

  9.                   2  4  6  8
  10.  
  11. After careful examination even young children can see that 2 has been
  12. added to each of the numbers to arrive at the following number.  Therefore
  13. the last number would be 10.  
  14.  
  15. To make the game interesting, I have used Eliemouse as a playing partner
  16. who is counting peanuts (his favorite food, I might add).  Very young
  17. children who have not yet learned about numbers can count the rows of 
  18. peanuts instead.

  20.                     HOW TO PLAY
  21.  
  22. Boot up the program, and an attractive screen will appear featuring 
  23. Eliemouse and a frame in which the game takes place.  In the lower right
  24. hand corner of the screen is a box marked FORWARD and in the lower left
  25. hand corner of the screen is a box marked BACKWARD.  If you want to have
  26. the numbers appear from low to high, click with the left mouse button on
  27. the FORWARD box.  To play the game in reverse, high numbers down to low,
  28. click the left mouse button on the BACKWARD box.  There is a QUIT box when
  29. you are through playing.

  31. If you prefer to play only from the keyboard, simply tap the first letter
  32. of your choice <F>orward, <B>ackward, or <Q>uit.

  34. The DEMO version of the game only allows one play, and then you must boot
  35. the program over from scratch.  The complete game will repeat continually.
  36. When you are through playing, use the QUIT option.
  37.  
  38. This is a LOW RESOLUTION game, so a color monitor is required.  It will
  39. run in other resolutions, but with horrible results.  Stay with Low Rez.
