- View it! Ver 1.0
- A PrintMaster Graphics Viewer
-
- by Raymond Roux
-
-
- The view it! program allows you to easily and quickly view
- PrintMaster graphics libraries. All three screen resolutions
- are supported and should work on all models (520/1040/Mega).
- You must have at least 152,000 bytes of free RAM, and a
- graphics library cannot have more than 200 graphics in it.
-
- After starting up the program, an alert box is displayed that
- contains two buttons: "view" and "quit". Click on the "view"
- button to select a PrintMaster graphics library to view. Click
- on the "quit" button to exit the view it! program.
-
- After clicking on the "view" button, a File Selector box is
- displayed. Select the PrintMaster graphics library that you wish
- to view. The library files come in pairs, one file ends in .SHP
- and the other in .SDR, you can select either one. A message will
- appear telling you that the graphics are being loaded, this
- typically takes just a few seconds.
-
- You can view an entire folder (max 50 libraries) with one command
- by going to the desired folder and clicking "OK" without selecting
- a file. The libraries will be sorted in ascending order, when
- you click on the "done" button the next library will be read in.
- You can return the main menu by pressing the "undo" key.
-
- A select group of libraries can be viewed by using the wildcard
- "*" in the file name. You don't have to enter the extender.
-
- The graphics are displayed on the screen along with the name of
- each graphic. In low resolution there are nine graphics per
- page, in medium resolution there are twelve, and in high resolution
- there are sixteen. On color monitors, with the default screen
- colors, the graphics are black and the names are in red.
-
- At the bottom of the screen is a command box that contains the
- number of pictures in the library, a "previous" button, a "next"
- button, a "done" button, and the current page number. The "previous"
- button displays the previous page of graphics, if you are at the
- first page the button will be disabled. The "next" button displays
- the next page of graphics, if you are at the last page the button
- will be disabled. The "done" button will cause the next library to
- be read in (if you selected multiple libraries), or return you to the
- main menu where you can select "view" to choose another library or
- "quit" to exit.
-
- There are also some keyboard commands that you can use. The left
- arrow key works just like the "previous" button. The right arrow
- key works just like the "next" button. The up arrow key jumps you
- to the first page of graphics. The down arrow key jumps you to the
- last page of graphics. The "Undo" key returns you to the main menu.
- The "Help" key displays the name of the current library.
