  2.                     Doctor Who And The Daleks

  5.      This game is based on the old video game "Berzerk". Since I
  6. got gamesick for Berzerk, I went ahead and made a game similar to
  7. it. The game has Digital Sound (as always). As you can guess,
  8. Dr Who is the man running around the screen shooting at the
  9. Daleks (a group of Kaled humanoids that were mutated into blobs
  10. and placed into robot bodies). The Daleks are bred for battle
  11. and they will accept nothing less than the conquest of the
  12. universe!

  14.      This game is just a shoot-em-up game that will go on and on
  15. until the Doctor runs out of lives. The game has four different
  16. mazes and two different kinds of Daleks. The gray Daleks are shown
  17. for the first four mazes, then the gold Daleks. The Daleks shoot
  18. slowly for the gray Daleks, but get faster for the gold Daleks.
  19. Use the joystick to move the timelord through the maze. The game
  20. should also work under TOS 1.4 as well as the earlier versions.

  22.      You can pause the game and resume it by pressing the space
  23. bar on your computer. When the game ends, you can either press the
  24. joystick fire button to start a new game or you can press CNTRL-C
  25. to end the game.

  27.      I'm releasing this game to the public domain. By now, you
  28. must be wondering: Why??? Well...
  29. 1) I don't really have much faith in Shareware.
  30. 2) I'm trying to establish a name and reputation for myself.
  31. 3) I also wrote it for fun AND to keep the legends of the older
  32. arcade games alive.
