- ELFBACK was intended to be used on the TT (to replace TURTLE).
- In particular, it takes advantage of the greater RAM and CPU of
- the TT. But because it has several advantages over TURTLE, an ST
- version is included (ELFBACK.ST).
-
- The TT and ST use different conventions with regard to the
- archive bit, which is why there are two versions of ELFBACK.PRG.
- Make sure you have the right one by selecting the incremental
- backup option; if no files are selected when none have been
- backed up, you've got the WRONG one. You can then lose the
- version not needed. (Replace the .ST extension with .PRG to make
- it executable.)
-
- LHARC.TTP (not included) must reside in the same folder as
- ELFBACK.PRG and ELFBACK.RSC. Use version 1.13c or better.
-
-
- Changes from previous release (BACKUP.PRG):
-
- 1) Reset exit button on format menu.
- 2) Improved file selection algorithm.
- 3) Display filenames longer than 40 characters.
- 4) Lower price.
