  1.    Fnordadel Limits help

  3.    Fnordadel has various limits which the sysop may impose on his users.
  4. Note that some or all of these limits may not be defined, so you may not have
  5. to worry about them at all.

  7.    1) Number of messages per call.  There may be a limit on the number of
  8. messages that you may enter in any given room during any one call.  Once you
  9. have reached your limit in a room, you will be prevented from entering any
  10. more messages there this call.  There may be a separate limit for Mail>.

  12.    2) Calls per day.  You may be limited to a certain number of calls per day,
  13. past which the system will refuse to log you in.  Call again tomorrow if this
  14. happens.

  16.    3) Connect time per day.  The system may keep track of how much time you've
  17. spent logged in to the BBS.  When you go over your limit, you won't be allowed
  18. back on until the next day.

  20.    4) Close calls per day.  This is a tricky one.  A "close call" is defined
  21. as a call made wihin a certain number of minutes of another one.  If you make
  22. as many of these as allowed, you won't be allowed to login again until after
  23. the close call time has passed; this is to let other people use the system.

  25.    5) Download amount per day.  There may be a limit on the number of
  26. kilobytes of files that you can download in any one day.  If you try to
  27. exceed it, the system won't let you.  Wait until tomorrow.
