  1.    When entering messages, you don't need to hit return at the end of each
  2. line; the system formats things for you (& others) during message display.
  3. You do* need to hit return at the end of paragraphs, and indent paragraphs at
  4. least one space.  To defeat auto-format (for character graphics or whatever),
  5. hit return at the end of each line, and indent each line at least one space.
