  1.                   LHA v1.30 OPTIONAL REGISTRATION

  3.   There is no charge for using this program, and no requirement (legal
  4. or moral) to send money!  However, you may choose to register your copy
  5. of LHA (see below for fees) in order to receive support, bug fixes and
  6. enhancements to LHA.
  7.  
  8. ! NEW !  For version 1.30 of LHA, registered users receive an enhanced
  9.          version which simplifies all the most common uses of LHA.  No
  10.          more worrying about complex combinations of commands and
  11.          switches, just enter one command !  Please read the WHATS.NEW
  12.          file in this archive for further details.

  14.   Registration will also encourage me to continue working to improve
  15. this program: v1.40 is currently planned to provide further useability
  16. improvements.

  18.   When you register, you'll get a diskette with the enhanced version
  19. of LHA, plus the following utility programs:
  20.  
  21.      FCOMP:    a fast file-comparison program.
  22.      FMT:      an easy-to-use floppy disk formatter.
  23.      LESS:     a full-screen file browser that may be used together
  24.                with LHA to browse archived files.
  25.      LHX:      a program to test, scan, and extract files from both
  26.                good and damaged LZH archives.
  27.      LJPRINT:  a GEM-based program to print text files on an HP LaserJet
  28.                (or compatible) printer.

  30. NOTE TO PROGRAMMERS: full registration includes C source as well as
  31. executables for FCOMP and LHX !  If you want to fix bugs (hopefully not),
  32. add features or generally mangle either FCOMP or LHX, this is your chance !
