-
- Details
- -------
- This file will be filled out in the course of time.
-
-
- Usage
- -----
- Double click a RealAudio (type F88, RealAud) file to play it
- Type /<RealAudio$Dir>.ra <input> <output> to decode it.
-
- For playing sound, you require the ARMovie to have been seen.
-
- You may wish to add :
-
- audio/x-pn-realaudio RealAud f88 .ram .rpm .ra
-
- to your MimeMap file, but note that .ram files tend to be pointers to .ra
- files, or a means of fetching streaming .ra files. The protocol name
- contained in .ram files tends to be pnm: which can 'sometimes' be replaced by
- http: to fetch the data.
-
-
- Bugs & misfeatures
- ------------------
- * Not all 28k8 files decode correctly.
- * The replay handler sometimes crashes if the desktop is 'busy'.
-
-
- Future improvements
- -------------------
- You should read nothing into this :
- * Streaming playback.
- * More variants of 28k8 streams supported.
- * Generic filtering.
-
-
- Source
- ------
- Source will be released in due course.
