  4.        pdftops  -  Portable  Document  Format (PDF) to PostScript

  9.        Pdftops converts Portable Document Format (PDF)  files  to
  10.        PostScript so they can be printed.

  12.        Pdftops  reads  the  PDF  file,  PDF-file,  and  writes  a

  30.               Generate   Level   1   PostScript.   The  resulting
  31.               PostScript files will be significantly  larger  (if
  32.               they  contain  images),  but  will print on Level 1
  33.               printers.  This also converts all images  to  black
  34.               and white.

  36.        -noemb By  default, any Type 1 fonts which are embedded in
  37.               the PDF file are copied into the  PostScript  file.
  38.               This option causes pdftops to substitute base fonts
  39.               instead.   Embedded  fonts  make  PostScript  files
  40.               larger, but may be necessary for readable output.

  46.        This  is  a beta release of pdftops, and there are still a
  47.        bunch of PDF features which I have yet to implement.
