- Use
- ===
-
- This version of Termite Internetæs web browser is for viewing files off-line
- and as such supports only the file: URL with local files.
-
- You may drag a file to the Webite main window to view it; HTML files
- (filetype &FAF) may also be double-clicked upon.
-
- Clicking on the blue underlined text will move you around the Élocal webæ
- of connected pages on disc. You can use the back arrow on the toolbar to go
- back through previous pages youæve already viewed, and the forward arrow to
- go the other way. Click on either with the middle button to choose from a
- menu of visited pages.
-
- The Home button takes you back to the first page, and the Stop button aborts
- the display of any page. The Reload and Image Load buttons are of little use
- on Webite, where image downloading may not easily be disabled by the user.
-
-
- Disc magazines
- ==============
-
- This application has been designed so that it is easy to write a disc
- magazine in HTML format because you can tell Webite to start to display from
- any page: Change the Home line in the Options file. You can also use the
- bookmarks file to have a nice index to your magazine, you must use a filename
- instead of a URL prefixed with a % in the Bookmarks file, so that RISC OS
- variables will work (eg. <Webite$Dir>).
-
- What makes disc magazines written in HTML so good is that they may also be
- put on the Internet to increase your magazineæs circulation potential.
