The Imaginext Pirate RaiderÖ Demo CD contains a sampling of hot new Fisher PriceÖ products: a playable PC game demo, a preview of an upcoming game for the PC, and a look at playsets available as part of the Imaginext toy line. There's lots to check out, so go ahead and start exploring!
The toolbar in the Navigation Screen consists of these buttons:
Return to Main Menu Screen button û Clicking this button returns you to the Main Menu Screen.
Anchor/Sails (Stop/Resume Motion) button û Clicking this button brings your ship to a stop if itÆs moving. The Anchor button is toggled with the Sails button, which when clicked resumes motion of your ship.
CaptainÆs Wheel û Clicking this wheel on its left or right hemisphere turns your ship in that direction.
Port button û Clicking this button takes your ship to Buccaneer Bay.
Log Book button û Clicking this opens up the Log Book, where you can review your mission goals.
GOING ON MISSIONS
As part of the demo you'll receive 4 separate mission goals. Complete each goal to advance to the next mission.
SAILING YOUR SHIP
You can sail your pirate ship by navigating it around the ocean waters. To steer your pirate ship use the Left and Right arrow keys on your keyboard. You can stop your ship by using the Down arrow key. Resume movement by using the Up arrow key.
SHIP BATTLES
When you engage the enemy in battle, be sure to maneuver around to best position yourself for firing your cannons. Press the spacebar on your keyboard.
Although testing of Imaginext Pirate RaiderÖ Demo CD has been performed with Microsoft's Windows XP operating system, it is highly recommended that installation and use of Imaginext Pirate RaiderÖ Demo CD be performed only under a 'Computer administrator' user account.
To verify that the user account under which the program is being used is a 'Computer
administrator' account:
1. Click on the Start menu and obtain the account name in use.
2. Select the Control Panel.
3. Double-click on the User Accounts icon.
4. Verify that the words 'Computer administrator' appear below the account
name currently in use.
Consult your Windows documentation for information on creating user accounts.
If the program is very slow:

If User experiences slow framerate during movies or gameplay:
1. Close any unnecessary applications that may be running.
2. Make sure your display setting is at set at 800x600 resolution
and 16 bit High color. Refer to your system or Windows documentation.
If display problems occur:

If you experience graphics problems while running the program, contact
your video card or system vendor to obtain the latest version of their
video driver.
If sound problems occur:

Screen savers:

If you are running a screen saver in the background and experience
video and sound problems during the program, disable the screen saver
