BRIDGE 7.0 Demo:
Bridge 7.0 is the latest release of Artworx' classic bridge playing
program. It features high resolution digitized card graphics, greatly
improved bidding and play, 'point and click' mouse operation or keyboard
input, digitized speech and much more. This demo version will deal one
hand for you to bid and play. Try all the buttons, those that are not
activated for this demo will display a brief description of their function.
To use the program with a mouse, just point at the button you wish to
activate and click the left mouse button. For instance, to make a bid of
1 club, simply point the mouse cursor at the 1 club button and click.
If you are using keyboard input, simply type '1C' and press the 'Enter'
key. To bid 2 notrump, type '2NT' etc.
Note that the keyboard equivalents for the buttons are in dark letters
on each button. To play a card, just point to the desired card and click
the mouse. From the keyboard type '3H' for 3 of hearts, 'KS' for king of
spades etc. Note that the ten of a suit is specified by using a 'T', as
in 'TD' for ten of diamonds. Don't type '10D', it won't work!
