Thank you for viewing the HP Family Fun in the 21st Century
Mini-Kit. This Read-Me will explain what gets installed to
your machine and where the files go, and how to remove these
items once you're through with them.
To install the HP Family Fun in the 21st Century Mini-Kit,
double click the Setup.exe file at the root level of the
CD-ROM. This will install the HP Family Fun in the 21st
Century Mini-Kit application and related files, a little
under 2 MB, to your hard drive.
Under Windows 95, the default install location is in Program
Files\HP-21stMini. Inside this folder is the application and
a folder called Settings. Please don't move anything out of
these folders or the program will not run properly.
In Windows 3.1, the default install location is C:\HP_21Min.
You can change these default locations during the installation
process if you prefer.
A shortcut to the program is also created by the installer.
In Windows 95, this goes under the Start Menu in a folder
called "HP 21st Century Mini-Kit". There's a shortcut to the
Read-Me file and the Uninstaller as well. In Windows 3.1,
a Program Group is created on the desktop with these same items.
To uninstall these files, simply choose the shortcut for the
Uninstaller in the Start Menu or the Program Group and follow
the prompts.
Thanks again for your interest in the HP Family Fun in the
21st Century Mini-Kit.
