VES 1.0
Softball Statistics Program
(c) 1993 by Joe Cocovich

Thank you for evaluating my program. I appreciate the effort
I know you will put into using my program not only in evaluating it for
your own use but in helping me find any bugs and making suggestions on
how to make it more useful. VES is my first shareware project and a lot
of time and effort went into creating it. It began as a mere vehicle
to use for entering and reporting softball statistics for the teams on
which I played. I evaluated several alternatives but none did quite
everything I wanted it to, so I decided to write my own. I hope you find
the fruits of my labor useful and pass VES on, without modification, to
others.
Joe

INSTALLATION
After you have unzipped the files from the archive and confirmed the file
names with the ones in the Inventory list, place the files as follows:
You may create a directory anywhere you wish and place ves.exe and
nsc93a.ldf in this directory. The remaining files should be placed in
the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. VES also requires the Visual Basic 2.0
runtime library VBRUN200.DLL which is not supplied with VES in order to
reduce download time. VBRUN200.DLL can be downloaded from CompuServe via
a multitude of forums. The runtime library is also supplied on many other
BBSs as well.
You can then create a program item and/or program group in Program
Manager.
Please feel free to contact me anytime with problems or suggestions on
CompuServe at address 73737,104. See instructions in the on-line help for
how to register VES.
