  6.                           HOW TO OBTAIN Ada 9X PROJECT REPORTS
  7.  
  8. Throughout the lifecycle of the Ada 9X project, several reports have been 
  9. published dealing with all aspects of transitioning from Ada 83 to Ada 9X.  
  10. Those reports are available in both paper copy and electronic forms.
  11.  
  12. Paper copies may be requested through the Ada 9X Project Office at the address 
  13. below.
  14.  
  15. Alternatively, most Ada 9X Project Reports can be either downloaded from the 
  16. Ada9X Bulletin Board or obtained through anonymous ftp from the /public/ada9x 
  17. directory on ajpo.sei.cmu.edu (the Ada Joint Program Office host) on the 
  18. Internet.

  22. The Ada 9X bulletin board can be accessed by dialing one of the above numbers.  
  23. Users should set their telecommunications package with the following 
  24. parameters:

  27. Parity:           none        Stop Bits:        1

  31. Ada 9X reports are stored in the /public/ada9x directory on the AJPO host 
  32. machine.  Users can access the directory via anonymous ftp.  A sample ftp 
  33. connection to the ada9x directory is shown below:

  35. [your-prompt] ftp ajpo.sei.cmu.edu        execute ftp from your remote site.
  36. name: anonymous                           login using "anonymous"
  37. password: guest                           enter password of "guest"
  38. ftp> cd public                            change to the "public" sub-directory
  39. ftp> cd ada9x                             change to the ada9x directory
  40. ftp> dir                                  get a list of accessible 
  41.                                           sub-directories
  42. ftp> cd ada9x.reports                     change to the ada9x.reports 
  43.                                           subdirectory
  44. ftp> get README [newname.hlp]             get README from ftp and copy it to 
  45.                                           "newname.hlp" on your machine
  46. ftp> mget file1...fileN                   get multiple files from ftp and load 
  47.                                           them onto your machine with the same 
  48.                                           names
  49. ftp> bye                                  logout when finished
