HOW TO OBTAIN Ada 9X PROJECT REPORTS
Throughout the lifecycle of the Ada 9X project, several reports have been
published dealing with all aspects of transitioning from Ada 83 to Ada 9X.
Those reports are available in both paper copy and electronic forms.
Paper copies may be requested through the Ada 9X Project Office at the address
below.
Alternatively, most Ada 9X Project Reports can be either downloaded from the
Ada9X Bulletin Board or obtained through anonymous ftp from the /public/ada9x
directory on ajpo.sei.cmu.edu (the Ada Joint Program Office host) on the
Internet.
Bulletin Board Access: 800-Ada9X-25 or 301/459-8939
The Ada 9X bulletin board can be accessed by dialing one of the above numbers.
Users should set their telecommunications package with the following
parameters:
Baud Rate: 300-2400 Data Bits: 8
Parity: none Stop Bits: 1
AJPO Host Access: ajpo.sei.cmu.edu
Ada 9X reports are stored in the /public/ada9x directory on the AJPO host
machine. Users can access the directory via anonymous ftp. A sample ftp
connection to the ada9x directory is shown below:
[your-prompt] ftp ajpo.sei.cmu.edu execute ftp from your remote site.
name: anonymous login using "anonymous"
password: guest enter password of "guest"
ftp> cd public change to the "public" sub-directory
ftp> cd ada9x change to the ada9x directory
ftp> dir get a list of accessible
sub-directories
ftp> cd ada9x.reports change to the ada9x.reports
subdirectory
ftp> get README [newname.hlp] get README from ftp and copy it to
"newname.hlp" on your machine
ftp> mget file1...fileN get multiple files from ftp and load
them onto your machine with the same
names
ftp> bye logout when finished
