  6. v2.10 Released on 11/19/93

  8.   New feature - Keyword searches were added as an option to the Alt-M
  9.   matching feature.  A keyword list manager was added to the main menu
  10.   for editing up to 40 keywords.

  12.   Change - The Editlist was extended from 60 to 120 entries.
  13.  
  14.   New feature - An option was added for appending a "This TT may be
  15.   freely distributed!" message to the Z line.
  16.  
  17.   Change - Documentation was updated to reflect my new address, phone
  18.   number, and business name and to update the Gendata echo rules and
  19.   TMS node list.

  24.   New feature - It now produces matching reports.  (Alt-M from the TT
  25.   edit screen)

  27.   New feature - The default header can now be viewed from the Alt-H
  28.   header menu.

  30.   New feature - A "surname highlighting" feature was added.  It is
  31.   optional and may be toggled from the setup screen.

  33.   New feature - An option was added to the Program Setup screen for
  34.   enabling/disabling "Consider spaces unnecessary characters?"

  36.   New feature - Several command line options were added.  Start the
  37.   program as "TTEDIT ?" to see them.

  40.   TMS, GenData, the new Tin Tafel Collection Service, and other TT

  43.   Change - The "remember the last edited file" option has been removed
  44.   from the setup screen.  However, the feature still works.

  46.   Change - The registration price was raised to $15 due to increased
  47.   costs.  The number of disks and postage will go up because of sending
  48.   Tiny Tafel Collection Service data and because the forthcoming Family
  49.   Scrapbook v2.00 will take up more disks than previous versions (and
  50.   I don't buy cheap disks).

  55.   Bug fix - Made even more corrections to the soundex code generation
  56.   routines.  TTEDIT should now create soundex codes the same way that
  57.   TMS does.

  59.   New feature - Several new options were added to the Program Setup
  60.   screen.  They include:
  61.       1. Force case of "keeper of data" name to TMS compatible.
  62.       2. Strip unnecessary characters from surnames during TT loading.
  63.       3. Strip surname numbers from lines during TT loading.
  64.       4. Strip all high-ASCII during TT loading.
  65.       5. User specifiable field to fill unknown places with.
  66.       6. User defined printer string field.

  68.   Change - The maximum number of possible surname lines is no longer
  69.   fixed at 2000.  The number will change depending on how much memory is
  70.   available.  The program will use all of the memory that it can get, but
  71.   it will still operate if you do not have enough available memory to
  72.   edit the maximum amount of lines.  Provided that you have the memory,
  73.   the maximum number of surname lines will go up to 3500.

  83.   New feature - Added an Alt-H command.  It allows to to save the first
  84.   19 header lines and retrieve them into other TT's...saving you that
  85.   typing...

  87.   New feature - Added a Program Screen, which allows the you to change
  88.   things like uppercase conversion and the use of "foreign" or accented
  89.   characters.

  91.   Change - Made several adjustments to the way TT's are processed, which
  92.   should make it more compatible with TMS.  Changes include adjustments
  93.   to the soundex generation algorithm, sorting surname lines by surname,
  94.   and validation of soundex codes when loading.

  99.   Bug fix - Corrected the runtime error that prevented new TT's from
  100.   being saved.

  102.   Change - Changed the editing of surname lines so that any / or \
  103.   characters that are entered in the surname, place 1, and place 2 fields
  104.   will be converted to spaces.  Additional / and \ characters will cause
  105.   the TT to be processed incorrectly by computer programs.
