  5.     Orpheus is an advanced, writer-friendly authoring system for makers of
  6.     online manuals and tutorials, electronic books, and all other kinds of
  7.     hypertext writing.  Whether you are a veteran of hypertext or a first-
  8.     time author, Orpheus can help you get those great ideas out of the air
  9.     and into silicon.

  11.     The system consists of two programs:  Orpheus Author, an Integrated
  12.     Development Environment for hypertext writers; and the Orpheus Reader,
  13.     a program for you to distribute with your finished books in compiled
  14.     form.  Orpheus Author requires a hard disk; the Reader does not.

  41.     The sample electronic book "Introducing Orpheus" demonstrates some of
  42.     the principle features of Orpheus.  To read it, give the following

  47.     Orpheus is distributed as shareware and costs $79.  You are welcome to
  48.     evaluate Orpheus for up to 30 days, after which you are expected to
  49.     register the software if you wish to continue using it.  You are also
  50.     welcome to make copies for friends or to upload it to BBS's, provided
  51.     you share only the complete, unaltered system as you received it.

  94.     and give the password VISITOR.  Synapse is a Fido board (1:163/230) so
  95.     you can also FREQ the latest version using the magic name ORPHEUS.  On
  96.     Synapse you can leave messages for me at the main board or in conference
  97.     1022 (Orpheus Support).

  110.     On all boards, use the Locate command "L  ORPH*.*" to get a listing of
  111.     all ORPH files, and look for the three with the highest version number.
