  16.   distribution of "jspell", a state of the art ASCII file spell
  17.   checker for IBM-PC's.  jspell is especially suitable for TeX/LaTeX
  18.   documents.

  63.    Installation and configuration:

  65.     Prepare a "jspell directory", say C:\JSPELL, by the DOS command
  66.  
  67.       mkdir C:\JSPELL
  68.  
  69.     and copy all jspell files into this directory.  Then C:\JSPELL
  70.     should contain the following 11 files

  88.    If you find any file other than the 11 listed above, any file
  89.    missing or having different size, then you know this is not the
  90.    official shareware distribution by Nemosoft Technologies.

  92.    In order to be able to run jspell (and dictman) in any directory,
  93.    either add C:\JSPELL to your PATH or put two batch files
  94.    jspell.bat and dictman.bat into one of your directories in PATH.

  108.    The default configuration of jspell is set to VGA and AT-keyboard.
  109.    Also we assume that you work under the plain-vanilla DOS
  110.    environment. If your computer's configuration and/or environment
  111.    is different from this, then you will need to read (Section I.4)
  112.    of the documentation file manual.doc.

  114.    If you are going to run jspell under a networked environment,
  115.    then please read (Appendix A.) of manual.doc to complete the
  116.    installation.

  118.    In order to print out the documentation file manual.doc, your
  119.    printer must be able to handle the IBM graphic characters
  120.    correctly.

  124.    Licensing, distribution and registration information

  126.    This version of jspell is not public domain or free software, but
  127.    is being distributed as a shareware (i.e., try-before-you-buy-
  128.    software) for evaluation purposes only.  If you decide to
  129.    continue using this after the 31 day evaluation period, then
  130.    please register at $27 + shipping($4).

  132.    You may freely distribute this shareware version of jspell,
  133.    unmodified in its entirety (i.e., the 11 files described in the
  134.    Installation and configuration section), to others who are
  135.    interested in evaluating the software.  You may use any file
  136.    compressor/archiver (e.g, zip, arc, zoo etc.) in distributing
  137.    this software under the provision that the filename is
  138.    jspell20.<ext> where <ext> is an extension depending on the
  139.    archiving program (e.g., jspell20.zip, jspell20.arc, jspell20.zoo
  140.    etc.).  However, you may not modify, alter, reverse engineer this
  141.    software in any ways. Registered copies of jspell are not to be
  142.    copied or distributed except as provided for in the next
  143.    paragraph. Sysops of BBS, computer-related user groups, managers of
  144.    public FTP sites, and disk vendors are permitted and encouraged to
  145.    distribute this software without any specific permission from the
  146.    author provided that the conditions above are met.

  148.    Purchasing a license (i.e., registering) for jspell entitles you
  149.    to use the program on any and all computers available to you,
  150.    provided that you do not operate jspell on more than one computer
  151.    or terminal at the same time and you do not operate jspell on a
  152.    network or a multi-user system.  Copying/duplication this
  153.    software is permitted only for the purpose of backup and/or
  154.    archiving.
